Volunteers Needed – Community Baby Shower / Three Kings Celebration

Dear Members and Friends,

The Orlando Elks Lodge #1079 will be hosting a Community Baby Shower / Three Kings Celebration this holiday season to benefit the children of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida (DSACF) and The Russell Home for Atypical Children.

To help make this effort a success, we are setting up a collection display in our Lodge lobby beginning November 1st. We are asking for donations of:
 Pampers and baby wipes
 Baby food items
 Children’s books (Infant through Teen — gently used books are welcome)

In addition, on Saturday, November 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, we will be hosting a community outreach table at Publix Colonialtown, 1500 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando. During this event, we’ll promote our collection drive and share information about the many wonderful things our Lodge offers — including our veterans’ programs, children’s therapy services, summer camp, college scholarship program, and drug awareness program.

We are seeking cheerful, friendly volunteers who enjoy talking with others and representing the positive, welcoming spirit of the Orlando Elks Lodge. This is a wonderful opportunity for new members to get involved and make a meaningful impact.
